Advocating for Nevada’s Future

Nevada’s long-term economic strength and fiscal sustainability is dependent upon the capabilities of its future workforce. The foundation for many 21st century job skills is established early in a child’s life. Studies have also shown the highest return on human capital investment is realized the earlier a child participates in early learning programs –a ROI of greater than 10:1. Currently, Nevada is failing in supporting its future workers; 70% of Nevada’s 3- and 4-year-olds do not attend any form of preschool.

By advocating for greater investments in high quality learning programs, businesses can take the first step in ensuring a viable and qualified workforce for Nevada’s future.
